Anthony Cincotta wins his second blue belt division in a row, takes 2nd in Advanced Lightweight

Anthony Wins First Place at GQ
In the Advanced Lightweight division, Anthony Cincotta got past his first opponent with some solid wrestling before being caught in a guillotine in the semi-final by eventual winner Peter Shoemaker.  In the consolation match, Anthony put away his opponent from Team Lloyd Irvin/Daddis FC with a 50/50 heel hook early in the match to take 3rd place.

In his gi division, Anthony continued his streak as a white/blue belt to win the Blue Lightweight division without being scored on over the course of 3 matches.

Jen Flannery had a few hard-fought matches, including a battle in the women’s Purple/Brown/Black division with an opponent weighing about 30 lbs more than she does.  Jen was sharp, though, taking her down and passing the guard to take a 5-0 lead before a questionable decision from the referee called a stop to the match.
