Dave England and Jay Abbott Move to Blue Belt

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 @ 6:20 pm

Longtime and highly dedicated students Dave England and James “Jay” Abbott made the well-deserved jump to blue belt.  Congratulations!

Ryan, Jay, Dave, Seph

Dave England

Dave has been competing successfully at the Intermediate no-gi skill level for some time and has dominated in many of his matches at white belt, showing a varied game.  It was a pleasure for Ryan and Seph to move Dave up in rank and we look forward to seeing him develop as a competitor and student at this tougher level.

Jay Abbott

Jay has been an undercover blue belt for some time, but until recently had managed to avoid the gi classes and stave off promotion as a result.  We managed to trick him into showing up…sucker.  Mua hahaha.
