I have a few years of training and I believe, "I think we can all agree that the true skill of Jiu-Jitsu is not in one move or series of moves, but rather in movement itself, the ability to understand balance, timing, base, and other fundamental skills that allow a fighter to protect him or herself while putting their opponent in danger." RYAN HALL.. that is more true than most think because I use my wrestling I learned in High school and apply it to my fight game. How else would I post challenges for higher level belts and on occasion tap them....

p.s In my opinion Ryan Hall has an uniquie understanding of the game and I would be pround to be able to study and learn with a person of his capabilities.

Just came across your website and enjoyed your articulate presentation of such insight. Adaption is the evolutionary process whereby an individual becomes better suited to his/her environment. Any characteristic or ability that confers a benefit on its possessor enhances the survival chances of that individual. This universal and well established understanding taken directly from human evolutionary study is just as applicable when applied to the field of Jiu Jitsu. 'Being limited is only debased by thinking limited'. Ryan, may I commend you for your continued vision, passion and hunger in the pursuit of the 'thinking man’s way'.

Ryan, I see from the clips posted that you continue to update your triangle. Just the evolution that you are talking about... Keep up the good work and thanks for making the clips available on youtube and the detailed DVDs.
